Join the Venable #1347 trail from the dedicated Venable Trailhead or Alvarado Campground nearby. Start the hike by crossing a venable creek.
Climb the foothills into the Sangre De Cristo wilderness with views of Westcliffe in the valley below.
Continue to climb up the valley of Aspen trees and lush forest beyond the foothills.
The “falls” are a series of cascades with several access points for different views.
Leave the valley the way you came and enjoy the views between Aspen tree groves.
